Bird Flu Affect: No Chicken In TRS Daawat`

The fear of bird flu is likely to have a telling affect on the first TRS plenary meeting as its 50,000-odd delegates will miss the city's popular dish Chicken biryani and other chicken dishes. Amidst the reports of severe intensity of bird flu in Telangana and its rampant spreading, top brass of TRS decided not to include Chicken items in its menu at the plenary meeting to be held on April 27 in Hyderabad. "As a precautionary measure, we have told our caterer not to prepare any chicken dish in view of the general warning on bird flu," said TRS Parliamentary party leader A.P. Jitender Reddy, who is the convener of the food committee.
What's more? The leaders of TRS have now decided to replace chicken dishes with more mutton items like Talakaya Mamsam, Boti and other red meat dishes. The final menu will be decided by CM K Chandrasekhar Rao who will also finalize crucial decisions related to other arrangements.
While KCR picked LB Stadium as the venue for the party's plenary meeting, he insisted leaders that food courts should not be allowed inside LB Stadium and all delegates, VVIPs, including himself, would go to the Nizam College to eat where food is served. KCR also suggested that the delegates could first have lunch and then proceed to the LB Stadium for the plenary session.
