After the state bifurcation, the entertainment scene in Andhra Pradesh has weaken since Hyderabad had long been the entertainment hub ever since the flourishing of several recreational and entertainment avenues in the IT city. However, here's some good news for the citizens of Andhra Pradesh. Sathyam Cinemas, the Chennai based leading entertainment company, is planning to set up three IMAX theaters in Vizag, Vijayawada and Tirupathi. The Sathyam officials even met with Andhra Pradesh's Chief Minister Chandrababu and discussed the possibilities and other logistics involved. The CM is said to have responded positively and the clearances may be given soon. Until now, only Hyderabad featured an IMAX theater and with the setting up of 3 more IMAX screens, the face of entertainment industry in the Telugu states will be enhanced many folds. Already, Satyam cinemas built the popular multiplex S2 Cinemas in Nellore and are building another multiplex in Vizag.
