Huge Craze For Amaravathi Domain Name

Even before the state's capital, Amaravathi, had its construction began, there is an increasing craze for the domain name Amaravathi on the web world. The state government had announced that the capital region will be called Amaravathi, named after the ancient town and has a historical importance.

With the growing reputation among the global countries, Amaravathi is also finding its name allotted for several domain names like amaravathi.com, amaravati.com, amaravathi.org, amaravathi.co.in etc. Most of the bookings have started only a month ago after the discussions about the commencement of capital building started to heat up.

Interestingly, the private firm owners have become extra smart in booking their domains with 'amaravathi', leaving no room for Andhra Pradesh government to own amaravathi for any of its departments. This puts the AP government in a fix if it has to own tentative domains like www.amaravathi.ap.gov.in etc, since the SEO allows more traffic to domains with exact names which are already owned by private firms.

Not stopping with the internet portals, hundreds of Facebook and Twitter profiles are also being created using Amaravathi's name.
