Lizard found in London-bound Air India flight meal

National Aviation Carrier Air India has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons once again. In a shocking incident, a man finds a lizard in the lunch tray served to him by an air-hostess on a London-bound flight from Delhi. The incident took place on Thursday in Delhi-London flight AI 111 soon after it took off. The cabin crew offered the passenger to replace the meal tray after he complained. But the passenger refused the offer and later filed a complaint with Air India.
Meanwhile, Air India has rubbished the reports that lizard was found in any of its passenger’s meal tray.
“This incident never happened. As there is no record of it, no complained that was filed either in London, New Delhi or on-board the flight. No cabin crew or even the other passengers on the flight are even aware of such an incident and no one has come forward to complaint even now,” a senior Air India official in New Delhi told.
Describing the incident as a serious issue, civil aviation minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju said strong action will be taken against those responsible.
“This is a serious issue. Air India is not expected to serve lizards, nor are cooks expected to cook lizards,” Raju said.
Last Firday, Air India flight to Goa forced to return to Delhi after the in-flight air conditioner failed post take off 35,000 feet above the ground. The passengers faced severe suffocation inside the aircraft. The cabin crew tried to pacify the agitated passengers, but they demanded to see the commander.
