Why T-Intelligence Chief Goes On Leave Now?

Just when the drama in the state has intensified in the cash for vote scandal and the war of words between the AP and Telangana governments, the Telangana Intelligence Chief Sivadhar Reddy has gone on leave, raising several doubts. What's more skeptical is that the T Government has already appointed the Hyderabad Commissioner of Police Mahender Reddy as the replacement to Sivadhar Reddy.

Sivadhar Reddy has been appreciated for his meticulous handling of the cash for vote scandal in which the ACB arrested the senior T TDP MLA Revanth Reddy. With this sudden replacement and following a series of dramatic events happening of late in the run up to investigate TDP leaders and even the alleged issuing of notices to AP CM Chandrababu Naidu, the T-government's decision to send Sivadhar Reddy on leave has raised several eyebrows.

On the other hand, even Mahender Reddy's role in the cash for vote scandal has been efficient but his appointment of the Additional Intelligence Chief in this crunch situation is something that the T government will have to explain to the public. Meanwhile, several media houses have already started publishing articles questioning this sudden replacement.
