Maggi Noodles lands Madhuri Dixit in legal soup

Nestles popular Maggi Noodles has landed the Bollywood dancing diva Madhuri Dixit in legal trouble. The news is that Madhuri Dixit has been slapped with a legal notice by Haridwar Food and Drug Administration for endorsing Maggi. The notice asks her to reply to certain questions pertaining the nutritious claims made by the advertisements and how it is good for health. As per reports, the actress has been asked to respond to the notice within 15 days. A case could be registered if the actress fails to respond to the notice in 15 days.

Maggie Noodles came under scanner after samples were collected in Uttar Pradesh were tested and it was found that it had monosodium glutamate (MSG) and lead in excess of the permissible limit. Nestle India was asked to withdraw a batch of the popular snack from the market by the authorities in Uttar Pradesh recently.
