4 Day ACB Custody For Revanth Without 3rd Degree

The ACB Court on Friday sentenced four days ACB custody to beleaguered TDP MLA Revanth Reddy who was arrested in note-for-vote scam. The court agreed for the ACB custody to Revanth on few conditions. The four-day-custody will begin from Saturday and Revanth will only be available between 9 AM and 5 PM. Along with Revanth, the other accused Sebastian and Uday Simha were also sentenced to ACB custody. The court directed the ACB sleuths to not to use "third-degree" methodology while interrogating Revanth Reddy and his aides and asked to treat them properly.

Earlier in the day, the court has postponed its verdict to the evening after hearing to the arguments and counter-arguments of both the parties and their corresponding lawyers.

Meanwhile, the bail petition of Revanth Reddy has been postponed to June 8th. It may be recalled that Kodangal MLA Revnath was caught red-handed by ACB while bribing nominated MLA Stephenson last Sunday. ACB had recorded the whole conversation through spy cameras. Revanth allegedly tried to hand over Rs 50 Lakh cash to the nominated MLA and promised another Rs 4.5 Crore to vote for TDP in the recently concluded MLC election.
