I Am Getting Death Threats: Prime Witness In Revanth's Case

All India Dalit Christians General Secretary and the accused number 4 in Revanth Reddy's cash for vote scandal, Jerusalem Mathaiah, has said that he has been getting threatening calls from unidentified persons for the last couple of days. The ACB had already arrested three accused in the case, while Mathaiah has been absconding.

Saying that he has fear for his life, Mathaiah pleaded to the government to offer protection to him and his family. Revealing further about the phone calls he has been getting, Mathaiah suspected that it was a couple of policemen who have been threatening him to record his statement against Chandrababu Naidu. Mathaiah also said that Revanth's arrest was politically motivated.

Mathaiah also said that the police have been threatening him of using 3rd degree torture after his arrest if he didn't speak against Babu. Apparently, the cops have also offered 15 lakhs as a reward for turning covert. Mathaiah said that he will surrender soon and that he was in contact with Stephenson only because of the significance of his minority vote for the welfare of Christian minorities in the state.
