Naidu's Phone Tapped, Confirms AP Police

A day after TV channels aired an audio tape allegedly containing a phone conversation between AP CM Chandrababu Naidu and Elvis Stephenson, nominated MLA of the Telangana Assembly, Andhra Pradesh police confirmed the "phone-tapping" allegations levelled by the TDP. Corrborating the news, senior police officials of AP stated, "Our suspicion on tapping Mr Naidu's phone turned out to be true." It's learnt that police personnel took note of how Mr Naidu's phone was tapped and where it was tapped and who tapped it.
As per the prima facie, AP police came to conclusion that the phone of Mr Naidu was tapped. With the advent of mobile phones and latest technologies, call recording has become easy. Usually, when a call is recorded over mobile phone, the quality of voice recorded by the person is high compared to the other person who is on the line. Only if any middle-person tapes the phone of the duo, the quality of the conversation is good. Contrary to this, the recently released audio tape has good quality of Mr Chandrababu Naidu's voice than Stephenson's.
Going by this, police came to the conclusion that Naidu's phone was tapped with proper planning, execution. Police are taking the legal opinion and planning to take stern action against the people responsible for the illegal tapping of Mr Naidu's phone.
