E-Commerce Boom: 6 lakh jobs and 20% salary hike on anvil

With the sudden boom in the E-Commerce sector, the placement companies are estimating upto 6 lakh employment opportunities and even a 20 per cent hike in the salaries. Most MNCs and reputed corporate companies are seeking human resource management companies' help to hire its temporary employees.

As per the India Staffing Federation Chairman, as many as 85,000 youths were hired by MNCs and in the first quarter alone, 16,000 unemployed were successfully accepted by the companies. Apart from E-Commerce, the demand for skilled youth is particularly high in retail, IT, FMCG, Banking & Financial Services, Healthcare sectors.

ISF Chairman further revealed that entry-level jobholders are paid upto Rs. 10,500 and senior executives are given a salary upto 2 lakhs. In india, as many as 50 lakh temporary employment opportunities have been provided in the last decade. This year, the rate of employment will grow upto 25 to 30% and the career prospects will be lucrative in the fields of technology, digital marketing, research and development, data analytics.
