TDP' Kukatpally MLA Jumps into TRS

Telangana TDP has received yet another set back as its Kukatpally MLA Madhavaram Krishna Rao has joined the incumbent TRS government ditching his own TDP. Madhavaram joined TRS on Saturday in the presence of CM KCR at his farmhouse in Jagadevpur of Medak district. Despite several attempts from TDP cadre and severe pressure from TDP's scion Nara Lokesh to prevent Madhavaram jumping into TRS, their attempts turned futile as Madhavaram went ahead and joined TRS.

Ahead of MLC elections under MLA quota, Madhavaram ditching TDP has becoming talking point and yet again showed the heights of opportunism in politics. Also given that Kukatpally constituency is dominated by the people of Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema, who strongly backed TDP in 2014 polls, Madhavaram's jumping into TRS is definitely not a welcome move from the people of his constituency.

It may be noted that CM KCR has recently visited Kukatpally constituency and assured all sorts of help to people of Andhra, Rayalaseema. The buzz has it that KCR roped in Madhavaram keeping the GHMC polls in mind.
