Future shock: No More Internet After 8 Years?

As the entire world is advancing towards faster data transfer and other streaming services, technical experts are warning that the internet may reach its capacity in 8 years and a looming threat of web cloud collapse seems to be in avertable due to a capacity crunch, with the speed of internet increased 50 times. In the present times, 100 mbps are easily available compared to that of 2 mbps speed a decade ago.
Experts predict that communication science has reached its limit and that the fibre optics and cables can take no more data resulting in severe intermittent disruption of the internet. This will result in internet companies laying more cables, which in turn will result in expensive internet bills and still a very slow net speed.
Stating that the internet data has been coming to a stage where it can't keep ahead forever, Professor Ellis of Austin University said that internet companies that have been providing the internet through a single fibre may have to lay more cables, resulting in excess electricity usage. In Britain, the entire country's power resources will be dried up due to this phenomenon.
Andrew Lord, a professor at Essex University says that instead of transferring data, storing information in huge server farms may reduce the strain off the network to an extent. World's renowned technical experts and researchers will be meeting at the London Royal Society to discuss what can be done to prevent this future scare.
