AP Police arrested 11 maoists in Kurnool

AP Police arrested Janshakti leader, Korra Rajanna along with Ten other members of the banned Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) Janshakti faction in Kurnool district, Andhra Pradesh. Kura Rajanna is the former president of CPI-ML (Jana Shakthi). The arrest took place when the naxals were holding a plenary at Bollavaram village to work out a strategy to make their presence felt.
Kurnool Police intensified the combing operation after they received a tip off on the naxal activity in the district. Soon after the arrest, Maoists were taken to an undisclosed location for interrogation.
Identities of 10 Other Naxals – Andhi Balaji, Veddai Pothanna, K Veeranjanailu, Nambi Narsimha, Boya Sukanna, Mothe Venkat Rao, Pandla Penchalaiah, Singota Nagendhra Rao, Mandla Vasnthu and Chakali Srinu. Several cases are pending against the Maoists who got arrested.
