Kadiam Srihari seeks Naidu’s help over Reyans factory

Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari has met Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday. Kadiam met Naidu at the latter’s office in Hyderabad. In this meeting Kadiyam has requested Naidu to cooperate in reopening the closed AP Reyans Company. He requested the AP Govt to supply the raw material [especially the eucalyptus pulp] required for the smooth operations of the Reyans factory at a subsidized cost.
Reyans factory in Warangal District was shut down last year due to various factors like increase in pulp prices and daily wages. Thousands of employees were left on the road due to this unexpected close down. TRS party in thier election manifesto promised to reopen the factory. CM KCR has assured that he will try his best to restart the operations of Reyans in a short time and has started working towards it.
Interestingly, Kadiam was part of the TDP before he was lured to the TRS.
